MLK Pole / Baseline

Longitudinal documentary with people I met at the MLK Pole downtown. Many came from Florida with nothing and began at the House of Mercy shelter. I arrived as an international student knowing no one - displacement recognized from within. Each portrait paired with a landscape. Every diptych printed in triplicate: one for the subject, one for me, one for the community archive at the neighborhood center where subjects control access.
