Dupatta
I print portraits onto dupattas and give them to the women photographed. UV light develops the cyanotype; continued exposure fades it. Women in public life watch themselves dissolve. Women who stay indoors preserve the image, but intact for whom? The photograph lives against the skin of the person it records.
